Membership Agreement

This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Portia Shipman Enterprises LLC, hereinafter referred to as “Portia Shipman Enterprises,” and Member Organization.

Purpose: 

The purpose of this Agreement is to establish a membership relationship with Portia Shipman Enterprises, allowing Member organizations to participate in the “Paint the City Purple Campaign” and access resources for domestic violence and Gender-based Violence (GBV) prevention and awareness initiatives.

Membership Tiers and Fees: 

1. Free Membership: 

   – Access to general resources, networking opportunities, and participation in awareness events.

2. Paid Membership ($10/year)

   – Includes additional benefits such as marketing and promotional materials, training services, and exclusive access to specialized resources.

3.Membership Benefits: 

Resource Access:
  Members receive access to resources and materials for domestic violence and GBV prevention and awareness initiatives globally.
Networking Opportunities:
  Membership offers networking with organizations and stakeholders globally in domestic violence prevention.
Training and Education
  Members may participate in training sessions on survivor support, fundraising, and promoting gender equality.
Annual Event Participation:
  Members are invited to join the “Paint the City Purple Campaign WORLDWIDE AWARENESS DAY” on the first Saturday of November.
Recognition:
 Members receive recognition as supporting organizations of the campaign, enhancing visibility within the global domestic violence prevention community.
Termination:
 Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party at least 30 days prior to the intended termination date.
Governing Law:
 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the State of North Carolina.
