Dive into the world of gender-based violence and development in Africa by studying the latest research, statistics, and personal stories.
2. Review Existing Literature
Examine academic papers, reports, and articles on gender-based violence and awareness campaigns.
3. Analyze Successful Campaigns
Study effective awareness campaigns to identify successful strategies, tactics, and messaging.
4. Engage with Stakeholders
Connect with individuals affected by gender-based violence, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and organizations involved in this work.
5. Monitor Social Media and News
Keep track of relevant conversations, news articles, and trends related to gender equality and awareness efforts.

Stacie King is a passionate advocate for women’s rights and a dynamic leader in the non-profit sector. Her unwavering commitment to transforming the lives of women and children affected by domestic violence is the driving force behind her organization, Life Renewed Corp. Through her leadership, she is dedicated to providing survivors with the resources, support, and opportunities needed to reclaim their independence and rebuild their lives.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and over 15 years of leadership experience, Stacie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Founder/CEO of Life Renewed Corp. She has a proven ability to lead teams, develop impactful programs, and drive organizational success—all while ensuring that the survivors she serves receive compassionate and comprehensive support.
Piedmont Triad, where she plans to open a domestic violence shelter. This facility will offer emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, and job training, equipping survivors with the tools to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence. Additionally, she is deeply committed to women’s leadership and empowerment, believing that every woman possesses the potential to be strong, innovative, and successful in her own right.

Meet Jeronime Obwar: A Global Youth Advocate for SRHR and GBV Prevention
Jeronime Obwar is a dedicated grassroots activist and policy advocate focused on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, and youth empowerment. Through her initiative YESAM, she has transformed the lives of over 12,000 girls and 1,500 women by addressing period poverty, early teen pregnancies, child marriages, and sexual exploitation in Kisumu’s informal settlements. Her work extends to policy advocacy, budget tracking, and influencing healthcare reforms to make reproductive health services accessible at the community level.
A Vital Asset to PTCP’s Global Mission
Jeronime’s experience in policy engagement, grassroots mobilization, and youth-led advocacy makes her an invaluable asset to the Paint the City Purple (PTCP) Global Campaign.
