Purple Legacy Remembrance:
Purpose:
To honor the lives tragically lost to domestic violence while providing a safe space for families and friends to share their grief, find support, and preserve the legacies of their loved ones. These monthly workshops are designed to foster healing through community, guided by compassionate professionals and therapists
Monthly Workshop Agenda
1. Welcome & Opening Remarks
•Duration: 15 minutes
•Acknowledgment of attendees and loved ones lost
•Inspirational message from a PTCP professional or therapist
•Moment of silence
2. Story Sharing Circle
•Duration: 45 minutes
•Attendees are invited to share memories, experiences, and stories
•Supportive guidance by a licensed therapist
•Safe, judgment-free environment
3. Healing Activities
•Duration: 30 minutes
•Creative Expression: Art therapy, journaling, or crafting a tribute
•Mindfulness Practices: Breathing exercises, meditation, or guided reflection
4. Educational Session
•Duration: 30 minutes
•Domestic violence prevention and awareness tips
•Resources for legal, emotional, and financial support
•Interactive Q&A with professionals
5. Legacy Honoring Ceremony
•Duration: 20 minutes
•Lighting candles or planting memorial trees
•Reading of names and personal tributes
•Closing with a collective pledge to advocate for a violence-free future

•Pictures and Stories of loved ones lost to domestic violence
