Portia Shipman is a dedicated advocate with over 30 years of experience in championing justice for youth, elderly communities, and those affected by domestic and gender-based violence. As the Agency Director and President of Good Times Home Health Care Inc. in

Greensboro, NC USA.  Portia has been a guiding force in providing compassionate care and support to those in need.

Her work extends globally through initiatives like the Paint the City Purple Campaign, which aims to eradicate gender-based violence and raise awareness about toxic relationships, particularly among teens and college students. Portia is leading the charge to launch this campaign in Kisumu, Kenya, as part of the Festac Africa Festival, where she will unveil a new website and host a solidarity march to promote awareness and prevention. "Empowering Voices, Transforming Lives"

In addition to her advocacy, Portia is committed to community empowerment, having collaborated with organizations, schools, churches, and governmental officials for over 16 years. Her efforts have left a lasting impact on Greensboro and beyond, touching the lives of countless individuals.
